Giving back to the community
At Sequoia Logistics we consider service to our community to be every bit as important as service to our customers. If you live in Sonoma County you may already be familiar with Sequoia's efforts or have read one of many newspaper/magazine articles on Sequoia and our owners Roy & Tija Moss. The Petaluma Boys & Girls Club, COTS, Piranha Swimming, RP Fishing Derby, Toys for Tots, local PTAs, several school and recreational sports programs are some examples of local groups we support. In addition to financial support, the Moss family also commits several hundred hours of their personal time annually to a number of organizations.
Even if you don't live in Sonoma County it is still possible that you or someone you know has benefited from Sequoia's efforts as we also support a wide variety of national and international non-profit organizations. For example, over just the past three years Sequoia Logistics and its owners have donated and/or raised nearly $100,000 for the American Cancer Society (owner Roy Moss is currently battling stage 4 colon cancer). Following are additional examples of organizations we support: Medical Exchange International, The American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Avon Foundation, UNICEF, Wounded Warrior Project, MS 150 Bike Tour, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
